Parent Portal
Start early. The recruiting process begins earlier than most families realize — ideally by freshman year for D1 programs.
Film is everything. A 2-3 minute highlight reel with clean footage can open more doors than any tournament result.
Grades matter more than you think. Academic eligibility is non-negotiable. Many scholarships are lost due to GPA, not talent.
Reach out directly. Coaches want to hear from players — not just parents. Teach your child to advocate for themselves.
Know your division. D1 gets all the attention, but D2 and D3 programs offer incredible education and real scholarship money.
The journey is the preparation. Every setback, every coach who doubted your child — that's building character no talent can replace.
Let them fail. The most important lessons come from adversity. Your job is to support, not shield.
Identity beyond the game. Make sure your child knows who they are outside of baseball. That's what sustains them when the sport gets hard.
Trust the process. years in pro baseball taught me that the players who make it are rarely the most talented — they're the most committed.
